I finished up my Christmas baking this afternoon and as much as I love baking, I’m happy to have it done.
In addition to the chocolava cookies, the shortbread, the banana squares and the biscotti I made sweet Marie bars (top left), ginger crinkles (top right), butter tarts (with and without nuts) and shortbread candy canes and wreath cookies. Not pictured, but still baked were also a batch of bourbon pecan chew cookies. After a small cookie exchange tonight I think I’ve got enough. The hard part now is limiting how many cookies I eat so that I don’t have to spend the whole holiday running!
