On Sunday afternoon/night I do all my baking for the upcoming work week. This evening was white bread, maple walnut muffins and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.
In an attempt to simplify my week, but not sacrifice home-made goodness, I tried something new and only baked enough cookies for the first few days. I froze the remaining dough in cookie sized blobs to be baked at a later time (like for Thursday’s book club meeting). If I can find 15 minutes to turn on the oven on Wednesday night I’ll be able to have fresh cookies part-way through the week without all the mess!
