CSA Share – Week 3

We received our third CSA share on Wednesday, but somehow in the excitement of bringing it home and getting our SPUD bin I forgot to photograph our CSA veggies. Luckily for my record keeping we didn’t eat any of our share before I managed to reassemble everything for a photo shoot today after work.

This week’s share has less leafy greens than last week, which is a good thing since our lettuce and chard are producing enough for us. I was excited to pick up beets, radishes, green onions, peas and baby bok choy in addition to the usual herb, swiss chard and garlic scapes. It’s all lovely stuff, and we enjoyed the dill and radishes in our salad tonight. Still not sure what to do with the garlic scapes but we did use one tonight in place of garlic!
