Today was a super exciting day – it was CSA veggie pickup, fresh milk delivery and the first pickup of our grain share! The veggies were what we’ve gotten used to – potatoes, carrots, onions, leaks, garlic and sun chokes – and it was too dark by the time I got home to photograph them. We also got a bag of coriander seeds, which is a spice I have no idea what to do with. I love cilantro, but have never really tried coriander in things. I got what would be considered at least a spice jar worth so I will have to start using it.
This week with our grain share we got flour and I’m excited to try making it into bread. I’m interested to see how fresh milled flour works for bread making, since I’ve never had the chance to try it before.
Lots of good stuff in our kitchen – now I just need to find the energy to use it this week!
