We went for a quick weekend at the cottage before I went back to Fort McMurray (for too long it would seem). Then I also went to Fort Nelson which was enough of winter so we booked a trip to the Dominican Republic to escape. We travelled to Vancouver in May for our first marathon, Norman Wells in June for work, Fort McMurray in July, and the cottage again in August. I started school in September so both my free time and free money disappeared.
